Possessive articles (Possessivartikel) show ownership or association with a person or thing, like:
- my book (mein Buch)
- your phone (dein Handy)
- his bag (seine Tasche)
They work like the English my, your, his, her, its, our, your (plural), their, but they change based on gender, case, and number.
